Tony laying out the red carpet for the launch of "Emma's Butterfly Garden" |
We are extremely lucky
to have such an experienced and talented gardener Tony Hanlon. Tony started his
journey with Killashee over 25 years ago in the 80’s as the gardener for the
nuns. Tony has been the backbone of
Killashee throughout the many years it has been a successful establishment under
many guises from a nunnery to a boarding school and in recent years a luxury
hotel. Tony is adored by staff and guests alike for his encyclopaedic knowledge
of gardens, far superior to any google search (which he’ll personally assure
you himself!). Not only will he provide great tips but he is the man with the
real stories behind the history of Killashee. His latest horticultural
masterpiece is the recently launched “Emma’s Butterfly Garden” – watch this
space for the beautiful story behind his stunning creation.

Keep up the great Tony, always a pleasure photographing weddings in the gardens after all your constant hard work.
